Make your own Moroccan tagine dish with this fabulous spice mix. We’ve take the hard work out of it and we’ve spared no expense – no skimping on the saffron! Just mix the spices with some oil and water in a pan, let the spices release, add your meat/fish/veg some tomatoes, a little water and turn the heat down, pop on the lid and wait. That’s it! What are you waiting for? Can cook, will cook 🙂
Serve with cous cous
You need: 1 tsp oil, 30ml water, 25g tomatoes per person
Fry the mixture in the oil, water and tomatoes until the flavours are released. Add your meat, fish or veg and cook on a low heat for at least 45 minutes.
Pimp it up:
– garnish with a sprinkling of fresh coriander leaves
– add coconut cream or fresh cream
– add yogurt at the end
